Poultry & Egg Industry OSHA Training Program

The goal of the USPOULTRY HR & Safety Program is to support the industry's HR & Safety efforts through technical services and education. Supporting a strong, safe, and healthy workforce is vital to maintaining a quality, wholesome food supply.

About the Program

The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is proud to offer OSHA Authorized 10 & 30-Hour Training Programs tailored to the Poultry & Egg Industry. The OSHA 10-Hour course will provide entry-level workers with a basic overview of OSHA policies and the hazards they may encounter in the Poultry & Egg Industry. The OSHA 30-Hour course takes a deeper dive to provide a comprehensive overview of workplace safety programs. This course is designed for employees with supervisory duties and covers an extensive list of potential hazards, safety procedures, and administrative responsibilities in the Poultry & Egg Industry. The courses will be led by Matt Spencer, Vice President, HR & Safety Programs, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association. All attendees are awarded an OSHA training card and certificate of completion.

10-Hour Training Key Program Points

  • Please check below for registration for any upcoming courses. The next training class to be held at the USPOULTRY offices in Tucker, GA, will be announced 6-8 weeks before the class date.
  • A hundred percent participation in all the training is mandatory to complete the course successfully.
  • The class size is limited to 20 people. Registrations are processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Sessions are conducted on the Zoom until 5 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. separate sessions.
  • Sessions conducted live are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. on day two.
  • Enrollment is free for USPOULTRY member company representatives
  • If you have a minimum of 8 individuals who will attend, or if you have suggestions where future classes should be held, please contact here future courses should be held, please get in touch with Matt Spencer.
  • All classes are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient registration.

30-Hour Training Key Program Points
