USPOULTRY Foundation Accepting Company Sign-Ups for Expanding College Student Career Program at 2027 IPPE
The USPOULTRY Foundation is now accepting company sign-ups for the 2027 College Student Career Program (CSCP), held in conjunction with the 2027 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, Ga. Following significant growth in student attendance and company participation, the program will move to a larger venue this year to accommodate its continued expansion.
For more than 50 years, CSCP has served as a valuable resource for connecting poultry and egg industry employers with the next generation of industry professionals. As one of the largest career events of its kind, the program continues to grow, reflecting the industry's strong commitment to workforce development and cultivating future talent.
The three-day program will be held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 26, and conclude at noon on Thursday, Jan. 28. To accommodate the program's continued growth in recent years, the program will be in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom at the Georgia World Congress Center. This move marks an exciting milestone for the longstanding program, providing additional space for participating companies and students while creating greater opportunities for recruitment and industry engagement.
Through one-on-one interviews and direct engagement with company representatives, CSCP provides an efficient and effective platform for employers to identify, recruit and hire emerging talent. Participating students represent a diverse range of academic disciplines, including poultry and animal science, agricultural engineering and technology, agribusiness, food science, business, supply chain management, marketing and communications, biosystems engineering and related fields.
Member companies of USPOULTRY, the Meat Institute and American Feed Industry Association, along with poultry, meat and feed producers and allied industry companies, are invited to sign up. The program offers employers an opportunity to strengthen their recruitment efforts, connect with prospective employees and invest in the future of the industry.
Confirmed company interviewers will receive complimentary IPPE registration. Companies interested in participating are encouraged to sign up early, as interview space is limited. For more information and to sign up, visit https://www.ippexpo.org/education-programs/CSCP/.
