USPOULTRY Financial Management Seminar to Highlight AI, Talent Growth and Tax Tools
Amid shifting legislation, expanding global export opportunities, changing tax policies and rapid technological advancement, financial leaders in the poultry and egg industry are managing an increasingly complex business environment. In addition to the demands of daily reporting, cybersecurity and talent development, these professionals play a critical role in guiding strategic growth and operational success. To address these evolving challenges and opportunities, USPOULTRY will hold its annual Financial Management Seminar from June 30-July 2 in Amelia Island, Fla.
This year’s program will begin with a “CEO’s Leadership Perspective of Poultry Financial Management” and continue with updates from Washington, tax and economic outlooks, artificial intelligence policy discussions, cash management and investment strategies, protein market analysis, insurance trends and breakout sessions focused on tax incentives, employee engagement, budgeting, forecasting and more.
“Today’s financial leaders are expected to do far more than manage the numbers. They play a critical role in helping organizations navigate economic uncertainty and regulatory change while responding to emerging technologies and workforce challenges which impact long-term growth. This seminar provides valuable insights and practical strategies to help poultry and egg industry finance professionals succeed in an increasingly complex business environment,” said Aaron Weaver, corporate controller, Butterball LLC, and program planning committee chair.
The agenda was developed by a program committee of professionals that includes TJ Boyle, Frost PLLC; Vance Bullard, Wayne-Sanderson Farms; Kaitlin Carreno, Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP; Sloan Clinton, Mountaire Corporation; Stacey Crump, Pilgrim’s; Greg Finch, Claxton Poultry Farms; Joey Long, Case Farms; Jarod Morrison, Farbest Foods Inc.; Mulham Shbeib, Mar-Jac Poultry; Abby Walden, Crider Foods; and Aaron Weaver, Butterball LLC, and program planning committee chair.
USPOULTRY is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Sponsors. Up to 12 CPE credits may be awarded to seminar attendees. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
There will be an anti-trust attorney onsite at the seminar to ensure the USPOULTRY Anti-Trust Compliance Policy.
