2025 IPPE Donates $33,894 to Atlanta Community Food Bank

As part of the fight against hunger, the 2025 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) raised $33,894 for the Atlanta Community Food Bank through its ‘Giving Back to Atlanta’ campaign. This donation included $14,500 from IPPE, Hawkins Inc., and WATT Global Media, along with additional contributions of $5,000 from Expo Auctions and $2,194 from B & B Glass Studio. Individual donations from numerous IPPE attendees amounted to $12,200.

"We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from IPPE, its attendees and exhibitors. These contributions will help provide more than 133,000 meals to families in metro Atlanta and North Georgia, where one in four children experience food insecurity daily," said Ben Burgess, corporate relations manager at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

“This marks the ninth year that IPPE has raised funds through the ‘Giving Back to Atlanta’ campaign. Thanks to the continued generosity of exhibitors and attendees, more than $246,000 has been donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to date. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed to the fight against hunger in Atlanta,” remarked IPPE show organizers.

The animal food, meat, poultry and egg industries are dedicated to feeding the world with nutritious and sustainable food products. Despite advancements in production efficiency and genetics, hunger remains a pressing issue. One in seven Americans—and approximately 755,000 individuals in metro Atlanta—depend on food pantries and meal service programs for their daily needs.

IPPE, the world’s largest annual event for the animal food, meat, poultry and egg industries, is sponsored by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY), American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), and Meat Institute.
