USPOULTRY is not intended to, and may not, play any role in the competitive decisions of its members nor in any way restrict competition. The purpose of this statement is to make clear USPOULTRY's unequivocal support for the policy of competition served by the antitrust laws and its intent to comply strictly in all respects with those laws.

USPOULTRY, its committees, and activities shall not be used for the purpose of bringing about or attempting to bring about any understanding or agreement, written or oral, formal or informal, expressed or implied, among competitors with respect to prices, terms or conditions of sale, distribution, volume of production, territories, customers, or the hiring, recruitment, or compensation of employees or contractors.

No USPOULTRY activity or communication shall include discussion for any purpose or in any fashion of pricing, employee or contractor compensation, production quotas or other limitations on either timing, costs, or volume of production or sale, or allocation of territories or customers. Nor shall any USPOULTRY activity or communication include discussion of any understandings or agreements between competitors regarding the recruitment, hiring, or compensation of competitors' employees or contractors.

Members are expected to observe these antitrust guidelines in all formal and informal discussions at USPOULTRY meetings. Any violation of USPOULTRY's Antitrust Compliance Policy by a member's employee or anyone representing a member's interests may result in remedial action, including, but not limited to, immediate removal from the meeting and suspension from the association and any office or committee position held in the association.
